Our Editorial Voice
NewEU editorial exists to hold the machinery of European governance to account — not from the margins, but from within the conversation. We commission long-form analyses of the decisions that shape 450 million lives, written by correspondents who sit in the rooms where those decisions are made.

The continent deserves sharper thinking — and that starts with sharper writing. If you have an argument the consensus is missing, we want to hear it.

NewEU publishes two to three long-form editorials per week. We commission pieces between 1,200 and 3,000 words on EU institutions, policy, and the democratic health of the continent. If you have an argument worth making, send us your pitch.
